The Benefits of Meditation

Learning to meditate can bring many benefits into your daily life.

Regular meditation can help us to learn to live in the 'now'.  Not worrying about the past, or what is yet to come, but actually being present and getting the most out of life as we live it.

Scientific studies have shown the many physical and psychological benefits of regular meditation.  Amongst other things it can help alleviate stress and anxiety; reduce blood pressure and slow the heart rate; help the brain to increase its neuroplasticity - where the brain forms new neural connections; initiate the 'relaxation response' and help us to increase our self-awareness and be more aware of our own needs and the needs of others.
